Pops Story
Golf and the Dvorak family are like peas and carrots, peanut butter and jelly, Guinness with breakfast or any other combo that goes perfectly together. For over 100 years the Dvorak family has bonded around the game of golf. From a nine hole course in Fontana Wisconsin to Blue Sky Golf here in Jacksonville Florida and on hundreds of courses in between, the game of golf has provided life lessons and memories for the family.
The founder Curtis Dvorak named this challenge after his dad Don Dvorak, who he affectionately calls “Pops”. However Don doesn't want to be called Pops till he's 90. (Long story) His grandkids call him Pop Pop, but you can call him Mr. Dvorak, Don, Donald or “Here's your manhattan, sir!”
Win or lose, each participant finds their victory in the shared thrills of the challenge. The laughter, banter, and friendly wagers create an unforgettable atmosphere, reminiscent of the Dvorak familys own competitive legacy.
